Fatigue Life Prediction for the Skin Structures of Aircraft Sensor Pod Under Acoustic Load with Mean Stress

نویسندگان

چکیده

The skin structure of sensor pod mounted on the exterior aircraft can be exposed to acoustic dynamic load and static such as aerodynamic pressure inertial during flight. Fatigue life prediction structural model under should performed also differential stiffness modified by considered. noise test spectrum MIL-STD-810G was applied stress response power spectral density (PSD) calculated. frequency analysis with or without prestress induced inplane load, compared. Time series data generated using calculated PSD, time domain fatigue were predicted variation due according different considering mean examined decreasing observed in compressive load.

“the effect of risk aversion on the demand for life insurance: the case of iranian life insurance market”

abstract: about 60% of total premium of insurance industry is pertained?to life policies in the world; while the life insurance total premium in iran is less than 6% of total premium in insurance industry in 2008 (sigma, no 3/2009). among the reasons that discourage the life insurance industry is the problem of adverse selection. adverse selection theory describes a situation where the inf...

NDE corrosion metrics for life prediction of aircraft structures

The repair and rectification of corrosion damage continues to be a major factor in the life cycle costs of aircraft. The present approach to corrosion control is based on ‘Find-and-fix’. Once an area of corrosion is found, rectification is carried out as soon as possible. This often involves the blending away of corrosion damage and the re-protection of the blended area. Where the depth of corr...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

the test for adverse selection in life insurance market: the case of mellat insurance company

Mean Stress Effects on Random Fatigue of Nonlinear Structures

Random fatigue analysis techniques have concentrated on linear structures that exhibit symmetric stress range probability density functions (PDF). In narrowband response and broadband random response it is assumed that the bending stress range PDF is symmetric and has zero mean stress. Structures that can exhibit geometrical nonlinearity, under large deflections, typically introduce membrane ef...
